Tapestry by Brian
Made by Brian at IAHD. Brian is often waiting outside the office when we arrive to weave. He is an avid artist who quickly selects a bright primary color. Over the 18 months we have been weaving at Bainbridge, Brian has developed his signature style, weaving contrasting ribbons or fabric in and out of the warp to create a three-dimensional effect. He helps to sew some of the pieces together to make wall hangings. Other pieces are made into scarves, a hat or a pillow. Brian says he enjoys weaving because he can do it at his own pace.
