Ikesha from Brooklyn has been weaving for almost 3 years now, and has made a large portfolio of projects including circle weavings, bags, blankets, and most recently a skirt. Ikesha loves to make pieces for her daughter, and also enjoys selling her artwork to make money. When asked about her process she says ‘It takes me time to make the pieces, more than 2 weeks, I like to work carefully and slowly’.
