A bright yellow hat made by Yoshiko Maruiwa. Yoshiko is an art educator, who taught at Gateway Arts in Brookline, Massachusetts, an internationally acclaimed studio art center, gallery, and store supporting meaningful lives and careers in art for adults with disabilities. Yoshiko moved to NY to continue in the field art education and discovered SAORI weaving 14 years ago. Her work includes tapestries and clothing. She likes best of all to teach both children and adults about the philosophy and art of SAORI weaving.
